What are custom OC plushies?
We create bespoke, one of a kind customized plushies! These are a form of commission for people who are looking to get a custom plush toy version of their original character, or a plush lookalike of another person. They’re great for collectors, fans, artists or writers! A custom plush is an awesome way to celebrate your favorite character!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
First we develop a base design of your plushie. This is used as a guide and a template to make sure you have a reference for what the end product will look like and its size.
If you love the product, you can then fill out a form to apply for a slot!
If you’re selected, we go through a process with you to determine which elements of your character should be represented where! Things like colours, icons, catchphrases, easter eggs, whatever you’d like 🙂
Then our team creates the custom plushie design for you in the form of a digital mockup. We spend the time to get the digital version of your plus absolutely perfect and allow for multiple revisions where needed. Once you’ve approved this digital mockup, we move to the production of your plushie.
Depending on the kind of custom plushie you have ordered, there may be revisions that you can make if needed! Complex customs (particularly ones involving fabric) generally include revisions free of charge.
Because of the limited edition nature of customs, we generally open them as limited slot releases.
The people who get the slots are determined by a few factors, including:
– Suitability of the character for the design (will this characters design easily translate into the chosen merch form?)
– Clarity of the characters reference pictures + amount of references (does this character just have a few sketches to go off, or is there a substantial amount of refined, clear drawings that we can utilise?
– Amount of info provided by the buyer (did the buyer’s form only include a few suggestions for icons and colours? Or did they give heaps of info abut different motifs, characteristics and easter eggs that can be incorporated into the design?
– How cool the character looks (this is half a joke, but honestly – unique and creative designs are much more interesting to design for)
– How engaged is this person in our community? How well does our team know this person? Are they a reliable and engaged member of our community who interacts, asks questions and gives feedback?)
Depending on the design, they can be! Our team does not specialise in anthromorphic artworks, so making compromises like settling for a human/animal hybrid, or simplifying some features, can make it more likely!
If you would like to express interest in an animal/anthro only release please reach out to our team so we know that people would like this! We can explore a stuffed animal style if it works for you!
Some of our more expensive customs may have payment plans allowed.
In most cases, you’ll be able to pay a non refundable deposit that covers the cost of the artwork, and then be required to pay the rest before manufacturing / production begins
Please note that during the process of selecting people to take up slots, upfront payment is prioritised
There’s no plans to reopen slots currently, but keep an eye on our socials to be notified of any special giveaways, events or other plans! We will contact people via these channels when spaces open up again.
